Herkimer Industries (HI) has been providing contract packaging and industrial sewing solutions since 1973. Our services include package and product design, assembly solutions, quality assurance, and distribution. We offer a full line of safety products, which can be customized to meet the needs of your organization. HI is located in central New York with easy access to major northeast distribution routes. We provide project solutions and safety equipment to customers throughout the U.S.
When we talk business, we also mean people! With a workforce of nearly 150 reliable workers, comprised of individuals with disabilities supported by nondisabled employees, HI offers competitive sub-contracting services through quality work and top-class customer service. We are big enough to meet your production needs, yet small enough to give the individualized attention you deserve.
Some of HI’s current projects include sewing and finishing STARS (Solar Tactical Advanced Rechargers) for a cutting-edge energy company, labeling and packaging yogurt products for an organic dairy company, labeling and packaging private label spring water, sewing and finishing uniforms for New York State law enforcement agencies, and sewing eyeglass straps and personal first aid kits for the U.S. military.
HI is the vocational division of the Herkimer ARC. HARC provides vital services and meaningful opportunities for over 600 individuals with disabilities, along with others in need of services in our community.
